Nisos Kastelorizo (Kastellorison) 36:08'.9N 29:35'.4E

Presently sheltering from some rather strong winds on anchor and stern lines outside Lazarakis restaurant.
Rudely awaken at 4 a.m. this morning when some un-tasty port-beam howlers came gusting through. When chaos seems imminently close it's best to get up and check things out, even when this means wearing minimum clothing!  Not surprisingly just about everyone was up in their cockpits tightening tending to their anchor chains and stern lines. One yacht, which was swinging on the hook had already dragged and ended up sides-to on the eastern lea-shore quay, probably with severely squashed fenders. Some others yachts with their engines running to keep them off the quay wall. Fortunately we'de already positioned ourselves well off the wall and with nearly 90m chain out on a well dug-in anchor 'we ain't goin' nowhere!" Only pity was the yacht next to us was tending to rub one of our stern lines with their transom quarter, which from inside our aft cabin sounding like being inside an out of tune violin. Unfortunately we couldn't get off Ticketeeboo to put an additional spring in our line and we had to put up with it until our neighbourly skipper decided to adjust their lines (because it must have been driving them mad too!).
This morning the sky is almost entirely free of clouds, so hopefully no more rain. Off for walkies and picknik lunch (provided my Lover doesn't mutiny because there will be 'hundreds' of steps to where we're going.
