Been here two days and it's been mostly wet. We were held-up courtesy of Thomas Cook 'cattle class' being 4 hours late. For some reason everyone else on the plane was issued refreshments vouchers, except us! Fortunately it wasn't raining when we arrived at the yacht so it was relatively comfortable getting all our loot on board. Sue was pacing up & down the quayside and later informed me it was because of the cold and nothing to do with me taking special care sorting the pasarelle out before letting Sue on board? Needless to say we slept-in until late morning then did our 'Monday market' shop for fresh local fruit, veg & fish.
Ticketeeboo looks really good now she's had a Sue-wash. I'm able to keep myself busy in the afternoons with my project work and pleased to say kWh meter works a treat (no more having to rely on the marina for measuring our electrical load & billing us 'guestimates' and SSB radio installation is coming along steadily. Sue says "There's not much room left for adding any more instruments by the nav-table now!" It gets dark just after 4 so this gives me enough time to tidy-up before happy hour at 6! Forecast for the next 2-3 days is relatively unchanged. Wet & cold, although nothing as extreme as we experienced at home before & over Christmas. However, the weekend should bring sunshine & warmth. In the meantime we can be cosy, making use of our heating, which we have plenty of choice of!
