Kos Town Quay/Marina

Well, I suppose if anyone is wondering what's been happening with our blogg, fact is I have not been giving this my best attention recently!
Presently we are in Kos. We have been here for three days and will likely remain here for the next three because Caryl and Peter are due to meet us here. Kos Town harbour/marina is quite an interesting place. We would have preferred to berth in the Marina, couple of kilometres outside town. Unfortunately they have limited visitor berths at weekends when charterers are changing over so we ended-up coming into the 'old town' instead.
It's very busy at times and some of the sterns-to berthing techniques are a little dubious, although interesting to watch! We're moored on the east quay, under the Fort, which affords plenty of protection (as would be expected).
We anticipate moving northwards after Wednesday. In meantime time to polish a little topsides gelcoat, make use of the washing machine and get yacht ready for our guests. Even do a blogg?
